The Canadian Centre for Investigative Reporting (CCIR) exists to produce thoroughly researched reporting in the public interest.

Centre work is independent, and will aim to:

Advance education by conducting methodological research on subjects of significant public benefit to Canadians, such as First Nations governance and issues related to the criminal justice system, and to disseminate such research to the public.

To do all such things as are ancillary and incidental to the foregoing charitable objective.
